Brief: Cold Developments were appointed under a JCT D&B contract to undertake the strip out and refit of this former Honda showroom to provide a brand new KIA dealership in line with new KIA’s brand ID. Works included respraying external cladding, replacing signage, strip out fixtures, fittings, installing new glazed and solid partions, laying new floors throughout, replacing suspended ceiling, installing new HVAC and electrial systems, installing new toilets (including design), joinery, decorating and managing client direct FF&E sub-contractors. All work was completed within a operationally live site with car sales and servicing taking place in adjacent units. As such, a close working relationship was formed with the client to ensure that works continued as scheduled without compromising the clients business activities.
