The project involved the transformation of the existing bar environment, including strip out works, alterations to lighting and small power installations, plumbing modifications, extensive redecoration, new flooring, bar tiling, and suspended ceiling upgrades. Bespoke joinery elements were also installed to create a modern and welcoming space for visitors.
Working within a live venue presented several logistical challenges, with the project carefully planned around scheduled cricket fixtures and ongoing site operations. Close coordination was also required with client appointed contractors responsible for specialist bar equipment, audio visual systems, and fire alarm installations.
The project was overseen by Senior Project Manager Rob North, who managed the works from planning through to handover, ensuring the programme was delivered safely, efficiently and to the high standard expected by the client.
